PLANNING NOTE
Plan the stay you may need to extend.
Rooms, laundry, meals and a companion’s routine over more than a few nights.
Think in days, not just nights
Map an ordinary day: leaving for an appointment, returning to the room, eating, washing clothes and allowing the companion some rest. A room that works for a short visit may need different features over a longer stay. Begin with your actual routine rather than a suite label.
Give the companion a real place in the booking
Confirm the number of occupants and beds, as well as any charge for an additional bed. A sofa shown in photography is not necessarily a sleeping arrangement. If separate bedrooms or connecting rooms matter, ask whether they can be confirmed for your dates.
Compare meals and laundry
Ask how laundry is charged and how long it takes. Check whether breakfast belongs to the chosen rate. If selecting a kitchenette room, confirm cooking equipment, fridge space and the property’s rules. Do not infer a full kitchen from the presence of a microwave.
Understand what an extension changes
Read the cancellation deadline and ask about extra nights before relying on an extension. Additional nights may have a different price or require a room change. Keep the existing reservation and any new confirmation clear so that you understand which dates are covered.
Keep a shared, practical record
Keep the hotel address, reservation number, appointment location and provider support details available to both travellers. Use the provider for booking changes and the property for accommodation questions. We do not collect treatment details through this site.
